Genre film aficionado and TV host Joe Bob Briggs (Joe Bob’s Drive-In Theater, MonsterVision) will return to his roots to host a 24-hour horror movie marathon on the horror streaming service Shudder.
The programming event - dubbed The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs - will be available exclusively to Shudder subscribers on Friday. July 13, beginning at 9pm EST. Watch the trailer above.
Briggs
will host a curated selection of 13 cult classics over the course of 24
hours. While the full line-up is being kept under wraps, the following
titles have been revealed: 1979’s Tourist Trap, 1983’s Sleepaway Camp,
and 1982’s Basket Case.
